**The base is required for stability unless the unit is attached to the furniture. These units will have stops limiting their swivel to about 90 degrees (45 degrees from center). See "Important Safety Information" below.
Important Safety Information:
If your TV screen is larger than 30" wide it is necessary for safety and stability for the TV swivel to employ one of the two following safety options. For exceptions see additional safety information.
Option 1. Attach the swivel to the furniture with four screws. This is easily done from the top with just a screwdriver and the included screws. A 3/4" hole in the swivel platform is provided for access to the holes in the bottom bearing race. The hole should be hidden by the components. This is the safer and cheaper option. It also allows 360 degree swiveling.
Option 2. Order a swivel with an extra base. This is a platform of the same size as the top piece attached to the bottom of the swivel bearings for stability. Stops will be installed to limit the amount of swivel. The stops should be removed or adjusted only by someone qualified to perform a safe installation. If you do not think either attachment or an extra base is necessary with your installation and you do not want the access hole drilled please send an email with your order explaining why it is safe without these measures. Please read the additional safety information for more details. Do not hesitate to email with any questions.
The black textured finish is furniture quality. The difference between this finish and the typical powder coated finishes is striking.
Our Guarantee
The turntable swivel bearings are all steel and made in the U.S. No cheap nylon parts here! It uses approximately 150 quarter inch steel balls with two 12" diameter steel races. Foam pads are used on the bottom to protect your furniture's finish.
Heavy duty bearings
This swivel is for LCD and plasma TVs up to about 52". However, since the base size on flat panel TVs
varies greatly please check the bottom of your TV for fit. The top platform is 25" x 15" and stands 7 and 1/2" tall. The opening for the VCR/DVD shelf is 5" high and 18" wide. The extra base option will add 1/2" to the height. The bottom shelf is 12 and 1/2" deep.

Shipping is $10 for a single shelf swivel and $13 for a double shelf model to the lower 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii please email your zip code before ordering for shipping charge. Insurance is included free. We currently ship to the U.S. only. No PO boxes please. Your order will be shipped by UPS ground which usually takes from 1 to 4 days. We ship the same or the next day after your order is placed if you pay online (except for custom orders).
Payment
We accept Paypal, credit cards through Paypal, cashier's checks, money orders, and personal checks, For Paypal or credit cards use the "BUY" button and sign in with Paypal. Your payment will be processed securely by Paypal. Your payment information will stay with Paypal and cannot be seen by us or anyone else. If you do not have or want a Paypal account simply click on "continue" at the bottom of the sign in page to pay with a credit card. If you prefer not to use the Paypal "BUY" links at all you may simply send a Paypal payment to

and include the product number or description. You should receive a confirmation to your Paypal email address the same day. You're always fully protected with Paypal in case you find the product does not match the description. If you want an invoice before you pay just send us an email.
